Some good things but dysfunstional leadership

Head Office is near liverpool street station and has Ipad coffee machines, if you are lucky enough to be there. "Amtrust days" which are essentially non contractual additional leave

Cons

Our site in Nottingham has holes in the wall, broken lights etc. Management never come here. Leadership is not aligned, and often conflicts with one another as to what priorities are. The CEO wants people to come into the office 4 days a week because he believes face to face time is important, but will dial into calls whilst sitting in his office. They make promises then walk them back, and have very week parental leave benefits. There have also been some people who have exited under suspicious circumstances, but it always gets swept under the rug,

Pros

Amtrust povides opportunities to gain experience and develop problem-solving skills. If you’re self-sufficient and willing to navigate challenges on your own, you can grow professionally.

Cons

I’ve been with the company for nearly two years, and in that time, I’ve witnessed three rounds of layoffs. It doesn’t feel like a place where you can get too comfortable, as job security seems uncertain.
