Pros

Good pay and benefits. Friendly culture.

Cons

You have to be the only point of contact for claimants and clients so everyone's anger gets taken out on you, from the black box that decides what care gets approved and denied for the claimant to the employers pissed that they even have to cover anything. Very easy to burn out.

Pros

The culture here is genuinely collaborative — people work together against the problem, not against each other. There's a real sense of teamwork across the org where folks at all levels are accessible and willing to help. Leadership is responsive to merit and new ideas, which is refreshing. They're not stuck in "we've always done it this way" thinking. The people are great and the atmosphere is fun. This is the kind of place that good people join and stay for a long time.

Cons

The organization runs lean, which has its upsides (less bureaucracy, more ownership) but can also mean there's never a shortage of things to work on. But on the flip side: efforts are actually rewarded, and the breadth of the tech stack means there's always something new to learn. The return-to-office policies are a bit of an industry-wide trend, though they're more reasonable about it than many places.
