Pros

Work is not excessive, but that based on which dept you’re in. Mostly good people. AmWell benefits. Remote/hybrid work.

Cons

Recent salary increases, but still well below market by 10k minimum. Micromanagement. Excessive audits for everyone. Fight nothing, pay everything attitude. Excessive reporting which causes high manager turnover. No tuition assistance. 401k is 3%. New bonus structure is ok, but reduces what you originally agreed to when hired. It’s also much lower than market.

The company invests in their employees and provides lots of opportunities to explore here at AmTrust. The atmosphere is a positive one where you can bounce ideas off one another, and have the opportunity to fix what is not working.

Cons

The technical issues with the system is the most frustrating part about the job. There are always system interruptions, or there is always something not working.
