      Pros

      Amatrol is a great company to work at f because the leadership is committed to developing awesome interactive multimedia software and training equipment that make students successful. They give me great tools to work with and update me to the latest software every year. Also, the people I work with are very collaborative and want to work together as a team.

      Cons

      There is so much to do that we all work long hours, so more vacation would be a plus.

We value and consider all feedback as we work to offer an innovative, collaborative culture. Hopefully you agree the 2016 changes to our PTO policies are generous, especially the annual cash buyout program on each employee's work anniversary.

      Small Business, not so small anymore

      -Small business doing well, domestically and internationally -Small business of the year of Indiana (2010) -Great products: software and hardware -Flexible and personable management -location very close to new Kentuckiana bridge in development, IN-side -Good Core Values -Great niche market in the educational/training industry

      -Dated company work culture -Compensation not entirely competitive -shallow benefits

      The climate is mixed depending on the department you are working in

      Pros

      Amatrol is a leader in the industry. There are some great people here, a very intellectual environment. Their product line and development of technical trainers, training products, and learning systems, has a positive impact on "putting people (back) to work." The company is family owned and operated and experiencing growth.

      Cons

      Leadership does not recognize the need to fairly compensate with benefits and pay. The use of temporary employees on a permanent basis is viewed poorly and creates an old fashioned "classism."
