Pros

It is a very good job for those who like to work on their own schedule during the day. Very understanding when shifting days and hours as needed balance home life and work life. Plenty of overtime.

Cons

Because they are hiring at a rate they cannot handle, many things fall between the cracks. They are creating newer shifts such as weekends and evenings, and are so wrapped up in growth that their new employees are forgotten and left to their own devices, despite working in an industry where error is disastrous. As they do not own their facility the only place to park is at a public parking garage with few cameras and no security. The public access and lack of security makes the garage unsafe once the sun sets . Damage to vehicles and personal safety is an ongoing issue. When brought to management, general consensus is that the issue is yours alone as the company cannot and will not do anything to change the circumstance. Upon speaking with co-workers, this seems to be a common occurrence and the mindset is always the same. Parking passes are provided and it is highlighted as a benefit, but if the garage is full you then must park on the street and pay with no reimbursement. As they only pay $12.00/hr it doesn't weight out in your favor. The atmosphere of the company is that of a high school club with cliques, favoritism, and rewards for the fastest despite the fastest always cutting corners and leaving the harder tasks for those around them. HR has proven that they cannot be taken at their word and have no issue with blatant, outright lies to get their way.

Thank you for taking time to provide this valuable insight into your experience while here at PillPack. It is truly appreciated. We understand how important it is that all of our employees feels safe while working with us. We have recently implemented a parking allowance for our employees who would prefer to utilize street parking. Parking in the City of Manchester is a challenge due to an influx of new and growing companies in the area. It is not an ideal scenario, not only PillPack employees but for everyone who works and operates a business in the area. We have been working very closely with city leadership on identifying new ways to alleviate parking issues in the future. Your feedback is extremely helpful in helping us to determine which areas we need to continue to improve on as a company.
