Pros

You are surrounded with tough problems and brilliant people. The work place is dynamic and personable. The problems are unique, interesting, and new. The company isn't afraid of loss leading/risk so projects are stable. The impact that each team member has is much larger than typical.

Cons

The equipment is Scrappy, limited to bare essentials. Staffing is really light so everyone has more work then time. Amazon struggles to fit good learnings in the software process to hardware design

Pros

- Opportunity to work on innovative product - Flexible work hours - Free Uber Pool credit (Up to $130/mo)

Cons

- So much internal bureaucracy preventing quick innovation - Unnecessary perfectionism when only thing you need is a minimum viable product - Not many perks like other tech giants (e.g. Google, Facebook, etc.)
