Pros

The onboarding experience really helps with getting to know the culture at Amazon. Speaking of culture, I have never felt more accepted then I do here.

Cons

It is fast pace and if you aren't ready it will consume you but ask for help and support will come. No one is left behind. They hired you for a reason and no one wants you to fail.

Lots of learning and growth, excellent compensation

Pros

I was a former intern and now full time engineer. My team and manager are great. The work is usually interesting and fulfilling, and we work on complex problems that impact a huge proportion of customers and associates. Compensation is excellent, even as an intern. The team allows full work from home, and we have some coworkers not based near an office. If we need to travel, it's reimbursed. Great place to start your career.

Cons

Things are bureaucratic and decisions can be slow sometimes.

Pros

Amazon Robotics and their interview process does a great job finding those who espouse the Leadership Principals. The business leaders are approachable and down to earth.

Cons

This is for Amazon as a whole - a lot of the internal processes are not a "day one" culture.
