Pros

Solid place to work in the renewables industry. Lots of project opportunities, big team, lots of good construction and engineering expertise to lean on. Overall I had a really good work-life balance there and minimal stress with my job.

Cons

Low amount of PTO offered

Pros

Supportive supervisor, generous and collaborative coworkers, shared goals, meaningful work, public sector client base. More ethical and service-minded than is typical of a corporate environment, though still profit driven. Flexible, remote work (with some travel required). Success is celebrated and rewarded.

Cons

Steep learning curve/thrown in the deep end (this situation is improving), state government bureaucratic hoops that distract from more useful tasks. Corporate is behind the ball on DEI, but the Northwest team is leading exciting recent efforts in this area.
