      Pros

      Easy to get small raises

      Cons

      Company will try to pay you as little money as possible. Branches are a huge dysfunctional mess. Can't keep employees. Cant keep supervisors. Rude, agressive, and vulgar members. No support from upper management. The harder you work the faster car your boss will drive. All they care about is the numbers, they don't care about your feelings, struggles, or goals. Tellers get paid $14.25 starting and loan officers get paid $16-17 starting.

      Not very good leaders

      Pros

      Helps you learn about finances and banking, also good for people who have never been exposed to a professional work environment

      Cons

      Leadership does not actually care about tellers. They push you to get referrals & improve your cross sells, but they don't actually care. If you are the best teller ever and hit all your numbers, you get a small pat on the back (no rewards). If you don't hit your numbers, you get in trouble. It seemed like a lot of the leaders there had never been leaders before in their career and they are just looking for reasons to get you in trouble or show you who's boss. And sadly this does not end on a branch level.. Even the VP that was over our branch was not a great leader at all. There was a time I felt I was working in a hostile work environment because of the way my lead teller and manager were treating me, so I reported it to the anonymous compliance form.. I ended up getting lectured by the VP on how I shouldn't have done that.. But I thought that's what it was there for?
