Wonderful People but Overwhelming Job

Good benefits, steady pay, reliable (performance-based) raises, long-term growth opportunity, paid vacation and sick leave, fantastic coworkers, good management team, and clear (if steep) job expectations.

Cons

America First Credit Union focuses heavily on growth. New membership areas are being introduced and membership base is growing despite the current staff being unable to serve current membership. Too few employees for too many people has lead to overwhelmed, burned out employees and frustrated members. Pay is also below average for the field.

It’s an ok place to gain a little experience.

Cons

Pay is not as good as it seems. In this case the grass is a lot greener and so is the money on the other side. They expect loyalty but give none in return. Stay away from here if you can help it.

Pros

Great pay for the area, but hard to keep up with current times. Great at staying relevant tech wise.

Cons

Workload was a lot to manage. They are very growth driven, and I think that hurts them because they end up having a lot of new trainees that struggle to keep up and are undertrained.
