Pros
I worked with some smart, hard working, dedicated folks.
Cons
The new executive team is entirely too corporate. The new management seems to look at the services that ACS provides to patients as "cost centers" rather than a core mission. They seem look at the employees as a cost rather than asset. When ACS went through "transformation" a few years ago, downsized employees were treated kindly, given time to find a new job inside the organization, and advance warning that their jobs were being terminated. Recent layoffs were done immediately, often with guards escorting people out of the building. Little to no care was given to how such a drastic change might effect people who often took pay cuts from the private sector to come to ACS and who completely devoted themselves to its mission.
