Pros

The individual people doing the hands-on daily work are some of the most caring, compassionate, giving people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Cons

The pressure to produce is unbearable. The more you give the harder you are pushed to give more. There is no appreciation for a job well done and you are treated as a resource, not a person. No employee should ever be told "just be thankful that you have a job:

Pros

Fast paced growing nonprofit with plenty of opportunity to grow and develop yourself as a young nonprofit professional. Must love outdoors and to travel.

Cons

Standard cons in the nonprofit world, overworked and underpaid. However, ACE offers a flexible schedule and you work with a highly competent and passionate team. This is hard to find in life.
