Pros

Great organization for developing leadership, management, and logistical skills. Plenty of opportunity for promotion if you work hard for it. Young organization that is growing, and has potential for you to make it your own.

Cons

Not much work/life balance. Often worked weekends or on-call. Unsteady work schedule, making it difficult to plan for personal life events.
