Pros

Everyone at AEP has been there for 20 years it feels like. Folks don’t leave because it’s a pretty good work environment with solid benefits. Good vacation allotment. Very low pressure. Folks are rarely online on weekends. The perfect kind of 9-5

Cons

Like most utilities, the pay is substandard until you get to very senior levels. The focus on O&M and reducing it really stifles a lot of initiatives.
