      Pros

      AEP is a wonderful company to work for. The opportunities for advancement are sometimes given more on a personality or looks basis than the actual ability. It is sad because they aren't giving the employees with little to no college a further look in advancement though.

      Cons

      Not really any downsides to working for AEP. I have a college degree but there are several people that I have heard of being held back from promotions because of their lack of a degree; regardless of the experience and abiliy that they do have.
