Pros

Pay isn't terrible, the benefits are pretty good. Tuition reimbursement just got increased to 100%. Lots of attention on work and personal safety.

Cons

History of promoting "good engineers" with little to no social skills into mgmt roles. Poor mgmt overall in engineering and too many levels of it. Remote/hybrid classifications "based on job function", but there are teams with the same function classified differently. There's an emphasis on culture with poor examples coming from mgmt. Few incentives to stay with the company. A director recently acknowledged employees finding opportunities outside for nearly twice the salary in some cases and basically stated that the only way to keep someone here is if they want to work here!

Pros

Good employee development. Great opportunities for advancement if you’re within the right division. Great benefits other than insurance. They participate in the Gallup survey and take action if the survey results are bad. This eliminates you from having to put up with a bad supervisor.

Cons

Insurance. The pay is better at the plants. Working for the plants is much better than working for other places. The corporate office is not too bad but your pay is lower than what it should be.

Pros

It's hands down the best company I worked at as far as culture is concerned. Things can be better such as compensation and benefits. I mean they pay good, but you'll have to negotiate to get what you want. But work life balance is great and no micro management. Ofcourse this depends on your manager and department. Great job security and you get a yearly bonus.

Cons

For those work in IT, you will know where the cons are coming from. Questionable decisions having been going on at the top of the chain and it's affecting everyone. This is not pointing a finger at one person, it's multiple. Very talented workers are leaving despite all the good things i mentioned before. It's not the same as it was prior to 2021. But pay should be better. Like every company if you want to make more money, you'll have to leave to somewhere else.
