      Pros

      AEP has been a solid and stable company working steadily towards a lot of change and innovation. In general, front and mid level leadership cares about employees and is enjoyable to work with. The work is very technical and interesting with significant changes coming to the grid through electrification and DER's.

      Senior leadership recently (1-2 years) has been inconsistent and lacks transparency, is going through many changes, doing re-orgs, cutting staff and budgets,
