      They allow hybrid and remote work.

      Cons

      My manager rarely responded to my emails/questions, and never respected for anything I had to say. I once made a suggestion, and he humiliated me by saying "that approach is so 1999". They don't provide paid holidays. They make $762M per quarter and can't give their employees a paid holiday. Instead, you must use your personal PTO for holidays. Considering they give less than 3 weeks, you don't get much time off.

      Strong Work Life Balance, Great flexibility to WFH, Strong Brand Name to have on Resume

      Cons

      Just check how much a comparable position at Visa or Mastercard pays. AMEX employees work for 70 cents on the dollar. Cult-like leadership touts how great the work life balance is, and while it is good, our competitors WLB is just as strong without the 30% pay cut. CEO is too cheap to give employee discounts and we pay full price for our own proprietary credit cards (Plat Card, Gold Card, etc). Its embarrassing to be paying with your JPMChase card as an AMEX employee because the company expects you to pay retail $700 retail for their own product.

      Great benefits Pto Flexibility with time off 401k Colleagues

      Cons

      Travel dept is very stressful. If you've worked in travel it's nothing like what you're used to. Compensation is poor. Nobody can tell u how much u make off a sale from the commission vendors pay directly to Amex. High turn over dept.
