Pros

Great Place Big Brand Good management Policies Good opportunities to work

Cons

Employee value coming down(this center) Middle management is adequately capable to handle the responsibilities. People treatment needs to be enhanced at some divisions. Tenured employees are very political. Things takes a lot of time to move.

Pros

American Express does pay better than most travel companies for a travel agent position.

Cons

Performance measurement is too stringent and is all about numbers instead of the whole person. It used to be a fun place to work, but has become very high stress, with very little job security. They terminate talented people, then hire inexperienced people that take too long to train and get up to par. It's become too much of a revolving door.
