Benefits are good and you meet lots of nice people that work for the company.

Cons

No matter how hard you work or your level of experience, the managers in the department I work for play favorites and will reward those in the department that has a sad story or give them a promotion for being nice. I've actually had a manager tell me that a coworker who had been requesting a promotion for years is always so nice so she got the promotion. And this particular coworker is not the sharpest tool in the shed but she's nice. 🙂 There are so many other terrible things I experienced in this department it is really quite sad.
