Pros
I was originally introduced to this opportunity by my cousin after he started about 2 years ago. I was living in Salt Lake City, Utah at the time and he was in Erie, PA. I applied the same day and went in for an interview which was a quick process. The training process was spectacular and simple to follow. I honestly feel like the management here cares about everyone’s personal success and helps us not only succeed in this career but also helps us grow as better individuals. The company has several offices in different states. I love the fact that not only do I now get paid more but it’s also on a weekly basis and renewal checks paid monthly after 1 year with the company. Being paid for work that I did in the previous years is something that I truly love about this opportunity. The ability to move up in the company is determined by performance and consistency and not determined by tenure or brown nosing. I've since brought in close friends into the opportunity and they're in much better situations now. The compensation for referring people to work is incredible. Now that I'm with the company and know the systems of how things work, I will do anything and everything to make sure that I make this work and grow with the company.
Cons
At first I noticed a few bad reviews and almost didn't go through with it. I kept doing some research and discovered American Income Life is currently one of the Top 10 Places to work in Pittsburgh, PA, Top 100 in Seattle, WA, & Top 100 in Orange County, CA. I've now been with the company for almost 2 years now and adversity definitely comes & it's going to ultimately create a better version of yourself to be able to overcome it. It takes a very strong mindset and mindfulness of one’s own self to persevere and make the income that is achievable here at American Income Life.
