      The managers are good liars, none paid training, bad leads, door to door knocking even in a winter snowstorm.

      Extensive training but once in the field, little support.

      When interviewed, I wasn't exactly told the truth. I lived an hour and 1/2 away and was told I would work closer to home. They made you travel 3 days a week to make phone calls from the office. Didn't make sense when I could make from home. Then they gave me an area another hour 1/2 away. I spent my time driving. When I have my notice that it was too much travel , I find out there was an office 10 minutes away from my house. My trainer knew this while I incurred hotel costs and never said a word. I was also told that I would get paid for my training. Not the case.

      Pros

      There is a very high income potential ($100,000+ first year) , ability to move up quickly into management after only a few months, lots of very talented and dedicated people to learn from, and high caliber training. They provide leads to help you get started.

      Cons

      Very difficult work, lots of hours when beginning, no guaranteed base pay. You have to get your insurance license before you can begin.
