      Honesty, an approach we don't seem to possess

      1. Money, if you're a sales king. This is a commission lover's dream. Young culture, hip.

      Cons

      1. The interview process, is designed to hire all, and I mean all, people who will say yes "in English". 2. Training--4 weeks unpaid, expensive to start up (pay for your own everything, gas, license, etc..." 3. Culture--its indoctrination. Monday meetings are "happy feel good" as your 10-99 fades into a w2 style job. Your MGA/RGA/SA are there for you, to tell you what to do, to make money off you, and to see you to the door as you walk away penniless.

      Pros

      Very young and upbeat positive environment. Pretty good training. Ability to grow is not unreachable. Commission percentage is good.

      Cons

      The hours are set and mandatory. The beauty about being an insurance agent, or a 1099 employee period is the ability to make your own schedule. You work 6 days a week. The company is not upfront about how you will get paid. Initially they tell you theres some sort of base pay plus commission. When in all actuality, this job is 100% commission. No part of training is paid either, and during training you can be working between 12 and 14 hour days.
