Pros

-If you want to dedicate every moment of your life to selling life insurance then it's great for you and you can make a lot of money -I really enjoyed most of my co-workers, I still keep in touch

Cons

-100% commission -bait and switch tactics -6 days a week -Sales territory at least an hour 1/2 away from the office -for the first 90 days you are in 'boot camp' and basically live there whether its useful or not -training is not very good (and not paid) all of my co-workers said they did not feel very prepared -senior management is very pushy -announced what people made every week in meetings They are not a scam and their products are good but they want you to give up everything in order to make a lot of money. They don't let you take off and they make you feel bad about not working every single day. Income is not steady, it could be amazing one week and nothing the next, it's more luck than anything. In the end, I lost more money than I made because I had to drive two hours away from the office to meet up with clients. After gas and toll roads it was impossible to come out on top. Also, they have very sneaky tactics to get people to buy and to hire new people. It made me feel 'dirty' for lack of a better word. I didn't feel good about what I was doing after I saw what was going on. ps: I was told in a meeting that all the positive comments about the company on these job boards like 'If hard work is a con then so be it' was made by senior management in order to get more people to apply to the company. The more people they hire to make money, the more the upper management makes Everything I said above is true, ask a manager and see what stuff they try to come up with but ultimately they can't argue with it.

Pros

Zero pros to working with this compnay

Cons

Only based on commission, plus it’s a pyramid scheme. The people above you take a cut. They expect you to work for free with the hope of you getting compensation through selling life insurance to people who don’t need it and can’t afford it.

We are sorry to hear your current experience did not meet your expectations. This is not typical of the supportive sales team environment the company promotes.

They sell the hell out of the job.

Pros

Good income potential for those who are lucky and grind like crazy.

Cons

-100% commission based pay, and if a client cancels you have to pay back the commission. -Very little support to agents in most situations. -Zero training when it comes to mods and additional requirements for sales. (often you will loose your commission due to mods) -The clients are not expecting a life insurance sales pitch. -The products are pitched as "exclusive" they are not -The sales script has a few outright lies in it and also uses a lot of manipulative tactics. -Agents are discouraged from selling more than a base amount of whole life because they get less commission pay from it, even though the client will get a discount when purchasing a larger amount. (its better for the client to buy in bulk but management dose not want you to do that.) -During the hiring process they will pitch a dream job to you, and forget to mention that over 90% of those hired will not make it to 1 year in this company. I could go on for a while longer but you get the idea. With a lot of luck and determination you can make it big in this job, but for the vast majority it will work out as well as any other multi level marketing job. With you financially ruined and looking for a job.
