Pros
Self employed, meaning you get to "choose when to work" and get certain tax benefits. "Unlimited earning potential". Easy to get get into the company. Unionized
Cons
Training is not done properly in a timely manner. Leads they provide are usually very old. Very stressful from having to work pretty much everyday from 9am to 9pm. Lots of driving to meet leads and they usually stand you up. Complicated compensation system and often not paying on time. Lots of hidden costs associated with the sales (cancellation of policies result in you needing to pay the money back to the company, exam fee, etc.) They recommend using a fixed presentation and refuse to provide agents with detailed info about policies, claiming that you need to sell to the heart, not the brain. Refuse to allow us to return old leads and refuse to give new leads since we have lots of leads already, despite them being useless and having nothing to do besides call the same leads 50 times a day
