Pros

Fantastic potential to earn a fantastic income. Must have a positive attitude, believe in yourself and especially believe in AIL and their mentality. You will probably NEVER get this many leads working for any other Insurance Company (I know because I had several other offers and researched them), and you will probably NEVER have as much fun or work as hard having it in my opinion either! I say if you LOVE to sell and you LOVE people and want to help them to have great insurance with AIL...then go for it! AIL is solid. They have over 41 BILLION DOLLARS in Insurance to cover their customers. I admit, I have not actually made $70,000 yet for the year, but I project to make this much if not more. I am just too new to give my actual "yearly salary" yet. If you work hard, have a good attitude, are professional, listen, and DON'T GIVE UP.....you will make a very good income with AIL. It's really up to you.

Cons

You will need to sacrifice your time...a lot of it (I started out with a stash of money to get by on until I began earning). You will need to be patient in the process, such as sticking it out to SERIOUSLY STUDY to take the state insurance exam to be a licensed agent. You will have to go through training, learn the presentation material, know how to talk to people over the phone AND get appointments with them (by following AIL's guidelines...which work!)...then sell, sell, sell once you get the appointments! But selling is NOT a "con" here. AIL is an awesome product. If you don't like selling or don't care a lot about people, and just want money, I recommend not taking the job. AIL truly cares about servicing and helping their clients, and holds us to high standards of service and commitment to them.

Pros

The trained you to pass the Health & Life Insurance License Test

Cons

Everything, the management structure is poor-you must pay them to take the class to pass the test.

Pros

They are a high spirited company that makes an effort to encourage everyone to live the life of an insurance agent.

Cons

Poor training, poor management and extremely long hours for a 'maybe' income. They do a lot of talking about how it is a dream job, but it is only a dream for those who dont have any other options. Also need $400+ to start up because there are a lot of hidden start up fees and weeks until you will get a paycheck.
