Pros

Look, the only thing you really need to know is this is tough performance-based work. No other job will be as rewarding. I worked in restaurants for years, scraping above minimum wage while giving maximum effort. Just being able to work hard with a smile on my face pays the bills and more at American Income, not to mention immediate recognition for my efforts. Advancement is all in-house and managers genuinely care about your success. Anybody who is anybody at American Income started from the ground floor. The company has invested millions this year in new agents, putting more money in their pockets. At the end of the day, and that day may have to be a Friday or Saturday, you will have protected families from the worst day of their life while providing for you own. You just need to be tough.

Cons

50 hour work weeks, you will pay for your own gas, the schedule is week to week so time management is neccesary.

Pros

I have no reasons why you would want to work here...maybe if you were tired of working a day shift somewhere else?

Cons

When I started with this company, I was told I was going to be in a management position, even in the interview, that's what I was told. So, naturally I accepted the job. After coming in on the first day of work(to a crappy 3 room module in a run down office building here in town) I soon found out I'd be calling and harassing people who didn't necessarily even want insurance, or already had it through somewhere else. I got more death threats than I did appointments, following their script. It was enough. After working for 1 month and a half, I only made 80 dollars total, and couldn't ever get that paycheck, as the manager just disappeared, and happened to have my check with her. This was a horrible work experience, and I would advise anyone and everyone against working here.
