Good, with a few hiccups.

Pros

My experience working with the company was fairly good. My manager was nice, the pay was well, and I learned a lot of skills that will help me with future jobs. I am fluent in Spanish, which was big at the agency where I worked. Being bilingual led to a lot of bussiness. Lastly I met many interesting people while working and I was able to help a lot of people who had bad policies with other companies. The only reason that I left was because I couldn't fit work with school.

Cons

The worst things about the job were the long hours that made it hard to balance with your life, and the fact that the paycheck was commission based. This meas that you will either make a lot of money from one sale, or nothing. Coffee is a must for new hires, as you will have to study the material, do work, and train for the job all at the same time.

Pros

Compensation; excellent renewal and bonus scheme Advancement opportunities based on performance Valuable sales experience Free leads (but you get what you pay for) Fun office environment, effective work-shops

Cons

Sales techniques based on deception and heavily scripted High turnover rate; possibly the highest ever Long hours (double overtime, anyone?) Lots of driving with own vehicle; no gas reimbursement Overly aggressive micro-managers Leads are old (or disorganized), sometimes prompting you to call prospects that another agent has just called or visited recently

Not the greatest

Pros

Flexible hours (kind of) Weekly payout Income potential

Cons

Ridiculous amount of travel throughout the entire state and neighboring states. No reimbursement for travel or expenses. Poor training - difficult to acquire answers or further training from management Vague payout structure with little explanation or documentation of commissions Success depends upon the quality of leads for that week. Leads are good in the beginning and then the structure and potential changes after 6 months. Must work 24/7 to make a decent living Primarily night and weekend appointments (cannot have a family and be successful)
