Working from home, get along well with my supervisor

Pay expectations are unrealistic. I was told to expect $70k in my first year if I was doing "average." I'm 3 months in and have made under $2k. Have asked for feedback to improve and am told I'm doing well in all areas. I was told I am not allowed to discuss other employment with new trainees because then they'll realize how little money most new people are making. My position was temporarily terminated due to a computer error so I could not work for a week. Have learned management told everyone I was sick rather than taking responsibility.

Cons

Going into another job in person is way better than this "remote" job that will suck any life you have outside of work. If you don't want to work like a dog 7 days a week without pay, then don't work here. It's a SCAM

Dedicate your whole life or make no money

Was originally told after the 9am-9pm M-F training for 2 straight weeks, the hours would be 2pm-9pm. That was a whole lie. They say to "make any money" you need to still work 9am-9pm M-F as well as weekend. They never tell the customers originally that they are purchasing life insurance, you tell them they are "getting free benefits and can possibly qualify for supplemental benefits". Personally I'm Jewish, but one of the agency meetings had a pastor to preach to the whole agency (I had left the meeting before it started because it felt off). If you can spare the chances of possibly not making any money for weeks on end, you can try. My personal experience involved me not getting any sales and given a (exact words from my manager) "pity sale" to get me into the system.
