Pros

Not enough space in the con: get a lot of money fast then get out of there. The checks and policies that bounce WILL catch up with you and the charge back cushion they preach about will not be enough. You'll be wondering why 1k or more is missing from your check but by then it's too late

Cons

Not a job you should stay at long. Complete Multi level marketing scheme. I pictured myself 5 years down the road at the job doing what my manager does day in day out and the thought made me sick.

Pros

It's not a job, it's a career. After graduating college, I was looking for somewhere I could actually grow. and not have a ceiling over my head. Most businesses these days you have to start at the ground floor and stay there for years until someone retires, moves, or unfortunately passes away. That's not the case here. You are in control. You determine what you're worth. The best part, you don't have to have experience in the industry beforehand to make it either. I came from retail, so I was nervous coming in for my first interview over 6 years ago, but I was eager to find somewhere to give me a shot. That's what American Income Life did for me. Gave me a shot and I never looked back. The culture and managers are there for you. They want you to succeed. It's not like Corporate America where people are trying to keep you down. I was promoted to a supervisor after 3 months, General Manager at a year, Master General Manager at 5 years, and am about to become a Regional Manager this year. You decide your future. I'm glad I took the first step to change my life for the better 6 years ago and definitely look forward to see how much further and better I am after another 6 years.

Cons

If you're someone where "just showing up is enough" is your mindset, this isn't for you. Like I said in the Pros, you decide your future.
