Pros

Flexibility in scheduling and hours

Cons

They don’t give you enough leads because they have to pay for them. So they make you collect referrals which is hard

Pros

If you're looking to get into the insurance Industry AIL is the place to be. No cold calls, Leadership that works with you to improve, Uncapped Income, PASSIVE income that you can retire with after 10 years. Any position selling life insurance is going to be hard, at AIL the residual income makes it actually worth it in the long run.

Cons

I've just completed my first year with the company, which only 10% of agents make it to, and it hasn't been easy. There were weeks where I made nothing. There were also weeks where I made thousands and thousands of dollars. If I had dependents to worry about I really might not have made it this far, but I'm now on average making $1,000 passive every month which covers my rent, and makes the job a lot easier. I also went through my first year without a team. I told myself I wouldn't bring on any friends until I was certain you can make money here without one. I didn't want to bring someone in that had to bring someone in for them to stay afloat. Building a team certainly helps, but I guarantee if you're committed enough it's not necessary.
