Pros

-you get to work from home "sometimes"

Cons

-they say you make your own schedule, but you will have weeks where you work 7 days a week sometimes from 9am-10pm -they lie and say average first year income is 60-80k when even the top performers in the company now made less then 20k their first year. my boss himself made less then 60k his first two years. -you have zero control over the leads that are given to you. they give all the good leads to their top guys and the rest of the company has all the recycled leads that want nothing to do with you -top performers strong arm customers into buying from them. -no one cares about you, they only care about getting you hired so they can get their growth bonus and brag to the entire company about how they make so much money. -you are just a source of income to the higher ups. -its not a pyramid scheme, but its a pyramid scheme to the point where managers just want you on their team so they can collect a "bonus" off of the sales you make.

Pros

None. None. None. None. None. I had to provide five words so I did.

Cons

First of all, this is not a "job." This is a 1099 freebie. Translation: You're an independent contractor who never or rarely gets paid. Here's the pattern: post false job opportunities, get people in who need work, bully, exaggerate and fib until they agree to try it then beat them down in a cult like atmosphere in which only one or two people succeed-the owner and his pet manager. It's like rowers on a slave ship; the vast majority work themselves to death for one or two people's benefit. Plus, their primary "customer base" are poor communities who can ill afford unnecessary additional expenses. After all of the smoke and mirrors, what are they selling? Whole life insurance which, in this writer's opinion, does not have the highest level of quality compared to other options in the market. In other words, forcing an inferior product down their throats with false advertising and promises that have no basis in truth is the career being offered. Tasty? Reader, if you're smart, you'll take all of these "positive" reviews for what they might be; fluff. There might be one other person in the organization getting paid other than the organization and sundry; the person who has to write these reviews to cover the bad ones.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your experience is currently less than you expected. Our AIL leadership is invested in each team member's success, personal development, and career growth. The situation you described does not reflect our AIL environment and we apologize that this was your experience. We're always looking for ways to improve the path to success and listening to current and former team members is a great way to improve the process. Best wishes in the future.
