Pros

Work from home. Take your dog out for a walk if you need to.

Cons

100% commission. They all know you’ll be making little to nothing in terms of pay. Matt Turnquist referred to himself as “fucking Peyton Manning” of his branch. Very scammy. If you don’t want to bother people and actually want to help them, look elsewhere, because this isn’t the place.

Thank you for your feedback and for your contributions to our team. This agent position does require a self-motivated, persistent, and sales-minded individual to succeed and isn't for everyone. With the right person, this career can be incredibly rewarding financially and professionally. We wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Where shall I start? Do NOT work for these people. They are super nice and suck you in with promises of a great career and ability to make a lot of money, but it's mostly lies. In the few months I was there, I spent over $400 training, getting licensed (they require all their agents to also get licensed in California even if you don't live there), and other expenses just to be able to do the job. But the training is almost nonexistent. You are required to attend LOTS of Zoom meetings where they tell stories (unrealistic) of all the money you will supposedly make, but aside from a few exceptional agents, that's not going to happen. It's all just lies. They even had a talk from one agent who said they get hundreds of referrals from every client on Zoom. I can't believe they push that crap. It's LIES LIES LIES! They expect you to spend long hours calling old leads who either don't answer, hang up, or hang up after they cuss you out. Some of the leads I was given were of lapsed policies that were OVER TEN YEARS OLD. Some of the few people who answered complained that we were always calling them, and not to call them anymore. Those leads will then be recycled to another poor new agent trying to make a buck. They say you'll get paid training, but that's a lie. The only thing you get is a small discount on the week-long training videos you have to attend. The rest of the "training" consists of being forced to make hundreds of calls a night to try to schedule appointments for a trainer who will then get all the money. I could go on and on, but hopefully you get the picture and will not work here.
