Pros

Great people to work with for the most part

Cons

70 hours per week, 6 to 7 days per week with no guarantee of getting paid because its 100% commission. 500 calls to people to set 40 appointments per week where over half stand you up.

Thank you for your feedback. This Agent position does require a self-motivated, persistent and sales-minded individual to succeed and isn't for everyone. With the right person, this career can be incredibly rewarding financially and professionally. We wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors and thank you for your contributions to our AIL team and customers.

Pros

Anybody can get hired, and they will teach you some basic sales techniques. The culture there is the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

Cons

The entire company is based around lies. To recruit you they tell you your being hired for a sales management position, which is a complete lie, your being interviewed to be a career agent. They use bait and switch tactics to get into someone’s house which is incredibly unethical. Everything about there sales process is horrible, once I started with a better company I was shocked at the difference in the way products are sold. They also only target the poorest of the poor as prospects, so expect to be working in the hood all day. The way they prospect is also horrible, therefore your stuck with the same leads for months at a time, expecting somoene who didn’t pick up the phone the first 35 times you called to all of a sudden decide to pick up is the definition of insanity. This process creates extreme peaks and valleys with income. The only time your on a peak is when you collect a good refferal train which I promise will run out. Only way to make real money is to suck it up for a few years until your promoted up the pyramid so you can make your money off the people just starting. It’s not a pyramid scheme, because you can sometimes make money at the bottom of the pyramid, but it has a huge pyramid setup to the buisness model. Trust me, you will make so much more money somewhere else. Unless it’s your first sales job and you have pretty much nothing to bring to the table yet, take a different job.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry our AIL Agent position didn’t meet your expectations. Your situation is not indicative of our hiring or management style and we apologize if you felt you were misled. We're always looking for ways to improve our agent experience and listening to former agents is a good way to help make the process better. Best of luck to you in the future.
