Pros

I see no pros for this job

Cons

100% Commission based, sells overpriced insurance to unsuspecting people, When contacting "union" members and families, there is a clear bait and switch technique used to enter their homes. Are there to give them their no cost benefits that they would be receiving even if you weren't there to give them. Once you are in their homes you have to recite from memory 8-10 pages of script shaming them and scaring them into buying crappy insurance. You put so much into this job but are not reimbursed gas and it takes away from being with your family.

Pros

There is nothing good about this job or the people who work in the office in Providence, RI

Cons

They lie and tell you that your coming in for an "Admin Ass" job but it's crap, your actually applying for an Sales job THAT ONLY PAYS ON COMMISSION!!!!!! EVEN WHEN YOU MAKE COMMISSION THEY WITH HOLD YOUR PAYCHECK! Do not apply to this job, it is just a waste of time. I worked there for almost two months and I PUT ALMOST a 1,000 bucks into this job, you have to pay for classes before you even start working and you have to buy a new computer if you have a MAC because their system doesnt work on MAC

Pros

-People are generally nice to work with, minus the few exceptions. -Great networking possibilities. -You like people and love to work hard and travel, try it out. -Depending on the trainer, good training.

Cons

-Promise you one thing, then postpone it. Very two faced. They promise you money to make up for your expenses after you take the class only to be informed in class you have to make a certain sales amount before receiving it. -Terrible communication, no one know what is going on. You have to go through a line of people to get an answer. -Only talk of how much money you can make if you work hard. Acting like it is the only incentive. Money is nice, but you need a life in the process as well. -Commission only, NO base pay. If someone is supporting you then go ahead and give it a try. If you are supporting yourself, forget it unless you have money to spend and/or a ton of savings, and a car with good gas mileage.
