Pros

The work/life balance is a benefit for flexibility. The medical insurance is awesome and overall pricing is better than most.

Cons

Management comes across as demanding and as a dictator. The work is challenging, however, to be talked down to and questioned makes the environment uncomfortable.

Pros

The benefits are good and most of the people I work with are enjoyable to be around.

Cons

There is a sense of the unknown and lack of transparency for a company who preaches it. Quarterly meetings mean a bunch of word salad, skirting around the information employees really want to hear. Positions aren’t being backfilled. The expectation is to work in the office 5 days/week. They recently sent out an email stating that they are going to start monitoring badge activity. They are taking away flexibly to work from home when sick to avoid infecting others. You now must take PTO. They don’t offer sick days. Taking unplanned PTO is considered a performance problem. You can’t win. Employees are risking safety to make it into work during poor weather in fear they will get in trouble. It doesn’t seem that those who must travel a longer distance into work are taken into consideration during weather events. They don’t close even when schools close. For those of us with children, you must take PTO if your children need to stay home from school even when they are at an age that allow you to work, just need an adult at home. I enjoy being in the office, appreciated the flexibility, and would never take advantage of it. The majority of the employees have the ability to work from home. It is 2025, after all. I suspect that there were people abusing the ability to work from home under certain circumstances, ruining the flexibility for all. Why aren’t those people being addressed on an individual basis? I have a feeling more talented employees will leave the company, but it is evident everyone is replaceable (or not). I am not sharing my job title in fear of retaliation, if that tells you anything.
