      -Excellent PTO plan -Great coworkers and front-line to mid-level leadership

      Cons

      The company is slowly wasting away. Morale is terrible, there is no clear sense of direction, and everyone feels lost. Fear has gripped the majority of the workforce, with the frequent layoffs and cuts causing people to not know if they or their department will be next. The company has hemorrhaged good people over the last several years due to this, and will continue to do so.

I started as a Senior Administrative Assistant, learning the ins and outs of collaboration and organizational excellence. Later, I joined the Employee Experience team, where I helped launch programs like the American National Volunteer Program and the Congrats recognition initiative, both of which reflect the company’s commitment to community and celebrating success. In 2021, I transitioned into Talent Acquisition, and it’s been an exciting chapter of helping teams grow with the right talent. What sets American National apart is its culture of collaboration and professional development. Every role I’ve held has deepened my connection to the company and strengthened my skills.
