      Pros

      You get many hours, supervisors are for the most part friendly. They are up-to-date on the weather and sending guards home when it is raining. Plenty of oppurtunity to pick up hours. Requested days off.

      Cons

      The days are from 1030--8 most of the time. A lot of the time you are the only guard there the whole day. Some supervisors might get mad when you make one mistake and they have to come to help.

      potential for management experience for young college students flexible hours they will pay for lifeguard training good bonus program unmatched by other pool companies supervisors are generally helpful and nice

      Cons

      pay is low for the quantity of certifications needed pools are often staffed with incompetent and non-english speaking guards company does not pay for operations certifications

      Pros

      even though you are on schedule from 8am till 8pm, most days you will be home by 4pm. you get to move around from pool to pool and meet tons of people, easy job to do, they give you company shirts, supplies and toolbox. its an OK job for the summer if you don't care about your car

      Cons

      they don't pay for gas so you can easily spend $260 a month on gas, you car gets ruined from caring all the pool supplies in your car and all the miles you put on it if it doesn't brake on you, you are constantly yelled at by the assistant director, they only promote their friends no room for growth so you will get stuck with the position.
