Pros

As a lifeguard the over time was amazing. Simple job. watch patrons, enforce rules. Pretty cool supervisors. As an area supervisor made lasting connections with my former co-workers. Lots of fun times at the office. Every once in a while free food.

Cons

As a lifeguard there was a lot of forced overtime. There was a point where I worked 5 weeks without a day off. Patrons automatically think you're an idiot. Property managers yell at you as if you're their employee and not a contractor. As an Area supervisor. Upper management expects you to be in the field from 8 am till 8 pm. Even though they are not exempt from it management finds a way to not pay overtime for the supervisors. According to the federal labor laws they are not exempt. By law they are supposed to pay per mile used in your vehicle. instead they pay 75$ a week. If you go over that 75 you're s.o.l.

Pros

Pay is very good and hours are very flexable. Great summer job that pays good money. I would recommend this as a second job.

Cons

Experienced lifeguards are often overlooked for promotions. Supervisors, Lifeguards, and Staffers are always being fired.

Pros

From my experiences in the South Jersey and Motgomeryville Offices, there was plenty of overtime and some good, honest, hard working people who kept the offices afloat. These are lower-middle managers who've elected to pursue this career in spite of the company's shortcomings

Cons

The culture of the company is based around minimal service for maximum price. There seems to be a general idea amongst upper and executive management that everything is the responsibility of someone below them, and they heartily embrace the idea that most everyone is below them. The truth is that it is hard to imagine a scenario where this company does not yield to its bloated weight and fold in the foreseeable future.-
