Pay is low, benefits are expensive and there is no OT. Can be a really fun job, but not made to be a lifetime career.

It is fun and the residents are awesome!

Cons

Hard to live off this pay. When you ask someone “when is open enrollment” or “how much is the yearly bonus” or “who can I talk to about tuition reimbursement”, it is really hard to find someone who knows the answer. But you get reprimanded for going over their heads.

Bonuses for full time and part time CNA's/nurses. You don't have to buy scrubs. There are parties every once in a while for the residents

Cons

Not enough pay, not enough staff, no benefits/bonuses to PRN employees

Pros

They had friendly residents and nurses. The pay was great and it was close to home.

Cons

I was a C.N.A. and they basically just told me to start working, not knowing any routines. I was fresh out of CNA classes and needed a little help. The girls that worked there wanted me to fail.
