Pros
The jobs are straight forward. There aren't a plethora of different sized materials to handle. It's nearly all tires. To a forklift operator this means that you don't have to keep adjusting to different material shapes and weights.
Cons
Low wages. Then again, I'm starting to think maybe being a forklift operator is never going to amount to much unless it's in a manufacturing environment. As far as distribution centers go I've been hard pressed to find one that will pay higher than 13.00/hr. starting out. The raises that ATD offers are just enough to keep up with the economy inflation.
