      Management communicates openly with employees regarding the direction and objectives of the company.

      Cons

      Had a hard time figuring out what IT leadership should look and behave like. This caused quite a bit of turbulence.

      Empowered to do the job well, but advancement is difficult

      Pros

      I always feel empowered to care for my customers and do what's right for them. I have a great manager and a solid team and we can accomplish anything we set our minds to!

      Cons

      ATD does a poor job of developing its people for internal advancement. There needs to be a managerial training program of some sort to help those interested in growing to know exactly what the company wants in its next generation of leaders.
