micromanagement - most of people are on salary, but still you have to put every 5 minutes on your timecards. yes they have clock-in, clock-out. it's big deal when you late, but no one cares when you stay 'till midnight (no overtime of course)
every few months they hire new "star" which usually ends up in bigger mess
minimal chances to get promoted
raises are minimal (if any), and probably you won't get any bonus
