Thank you for taking the time to review us. Over the past 2 years, we have improved pilot pay by quite a bit. We are now an industry leader in pilot pay and are happy to hear you list it as a pro. With 18 bases nationwide, there's a good chance we're near you and you won't have to move. We also have a home-based Captain program if we're not nearby and you aren't willing to relocate. Glad it worked out in your case for SLC! While our aircraft are not brand new, our maintenance and leadership teams take proper care of each one. Safety is our #1 goal and pilots are never asked to fly planes they do not deem safe themselves. We are constantly working to improve operations and have recently implemented a number of programs/incentives. We are also looking to go to a 4 day work week for pilots.

Pros

They have a rather large fleet of aircraft, many different types of systems to work on, varied tasks each morning. Learn on the job constantly.

Cons

You are not working for a company that cares about cosmetics. Don't expect to be. You will be asked to fix things to flight capable.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're glad to hear you enjoyed working on our aircraft and received on the job training. Something we pride ourselves on is giving our mechanics the opportunity to work on aircraft nose to tail! This won't be a one task kind of position and you will gain lots of experience from the different types of assignments given. Cosmetics are not at the top of our list. Cargo doesn't usually complain too much about paint jobs. However, we do care about the way we present ourselves and strive to improve cosmetically where we can.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed the people you worked with while here. We have made some big changes recently. We've switched healthcare providers. We've added bonus programs. We are also currently working on adjusting the pay scale for mechanics. If you ever make it back to Ameriflight, we hope these changes and the ones to come please you.
