Cons
If you want a job, this is the place for you. Just make sure you do not give into the pressure of taking on additional responsibilities without additional compensation. Management will promise you anything to get you to do more for the same pay. Get everything in writing as well, because you simply cannot trust management. If you are looking to advance your career, look elsewhere. Either way, negotiate hard during your initial hire because you're most likely not going to go much further than that. Annual raises (~2%) and bonuses (~$200) are a slap in the face. Both of which are directly correlated with your relationship with your direct manager. Upper management could care less about their employees. Their speeches during company meetings and events are just empty words written to try to raise employee morale. Recently, they started doing more surveys to identify areas of improvement; but most employees who actually fill out the surveys are more concerned about possible repercussions to give honest opinions. How about taking a look at the turnover rate instead? Average the tenure of employees by department and report those numbers to employees. Numbers don't lie.
