      Base pay, good and seasoned reps, Amgen on your resume

      Cons

      Abusive harassing management team (hr protects them anyway) , negative reinforcement, dishonest field ride reports, much too frequent field rides, frustrated stressed out teams of Reps who don’t deserve the treatment

      Friendly culture, nice campus, low pay, lack of diversity, mediocre benefits

      Pros

      Colleagues are friendly, ATO HQ campus is beautiful, 10% match on 401K, 5% discount on stock purchase, 2 weeks of shutdown a year

      Cons

      Extreme lack of diversity (Amgen leadership is 90% white) but may be a reflection of Amgen's heavy dependence on the USA market (>70% of sales). Benefits are on par but pay is lower than other big pharma companies.

      Discriminatory hiring practices

      Pay and work life balance is ok

      Cons

      A lot of “favorites” and discriminatory hiring practices. People whose resumes fit the jobs perfectly aren’t even interviewed.
