Pros

- great 401k match - generous vacation/sick time - good facilities and state of the art equipment - some of the best and brightest scientists in the industry to learn from - solid pipeline and innovative science

Cons

- like many other reviews have said, promotions are very political and hard to come by - poor behavioral conduct among employees isn't reprimanded - have been met with incessant discrimination from multiple people in leadership positions--unfortunately, these aren't isolated incidences and have occurred with other female and foreign colleagues in my department

No seats in Tampa

Pros

Good values and nice people

Cons

The shared services center is designed for collaboration and not effective productivity. Management readily admits that there are not seats for everyone assigned to the center yet everyone is expected to be in the office. Monitors are hard to come by and laptops are too small when working in spreadsheets.

Pros

Company shutdown (summer & winter) Work &life balance Flexible schedule

Cons

- politics (company culture is focused on people pleasing) -if you are a person of color, don’t be fooled by their diversity. They recently partnered with Howard university for their fellowships and changed the recruiter assistant to a black person but this company does not support growth for black people. One can be in a position for 10 years before getting promoted while others are getting promoted left and right for no reason. - those in higher management micromanage instead of being a leader. -several layoffs
