Pros

Hard to find any Pros. Situation has worsen in past 3 years. They have this typical mindset that they are best and everyone is dying to work with them. That are not good paymasters. Not respecting their employees or even guests.

Cons

Not at all employee friendly. Treat them as slaves. They said in public that by giving salary to employees, they are doing a favor. Senior management has lost all good employees and somehow managing with whatever left.

Pros

Nice infra Salary on time 5 day working Good for beginners. Good learning opportunity in academic administration. 30 ELs, 10 SLs, 12 CLs.

Cons

It was good till 2012 but after that work culture deteriorated. All good talents left Amity especially during the last 3 years. Reasons: 1) No increments in the last 5 years. 2) Excessive process-centred and focus mainly on accreditations and rankings as it impacts admissions from the rich class who want to get just degrees from a decent ranked university. 3) Faculties have become clerks. 4) Loyal faculties working for >10 years are paid very less as compared to new joiners. 5) Amity Noida being the head office is relatively less worst as compared to other campuses like Amity Lucknow, Amity Gwalior, etc. 6) In the last 7-8 years they only focused on expansion with campuses abroad but never tried to consolidate and retain good people. Now the result is that debt is increasing as foreign campuses are not generating revenue to cover ROI. Cost is being covered by salaries of existing campuses that’s why no increments and growth. 6) Most of the senior positions are occupied by senior citizens who are pensioners and enjoying their second innings of life and they are sycophants. 7) No PF, No DA, Medical insurance of just 1 lacs for the individual. 8) They want to be like Harvard and Stanford but want to pay you less as LALA Ji ki Dukaan. 9) Long list - cannot include all.
