Pros

Laboratory is not departmentalized as most other labs are, so you get hands on experience working on various products and essentially can become a jack of all trades. Ability to learn everything will help open the door for future career choices. Lab is growing and with it comes advancement opportunities.

Cons

Normal politics influencing management decisions, difficult to move up in your career if you aren't on management's good side. No benefits or holiday pay. Poor work/life balance. Poor work atmosphere, not very professional.
