Every con I can think of starts and ends with the CEO. He is highly litigious and retaliatory, and fosters a culture of fear and blame. He fires or pressures people out for petty reasons, in what is an incredibly niche field where talent is nearly impossible to find. This leads to more and more work on fewer and fewer people. The company was growing when I started, leveled out around 34 or 35 people by the time I left, and from what I hear now has 20 or less all in the span of a year. You will end up burnt out, and getting yelled at for things out of your control or even things the CEO did, until you get fired for some perceived insult. I've personally seen him on multiple occasions legally go after former employees or their prospective employers on flimsy frivolous non-competes/NDAs to jeopardize their careers. Working here seems fun and attractive, but it may end up being very dangerous for your career.
